Will candles make a difference? Shop with a purpose.

Shopping with a purpose is what our social enterprise, Elijah Rising Goods is all about. We frequently are asked, how do candles make a difference, and how does that support women who have overcome trafficking?

In this podcast, we define what it means to be a social enterprise. The Elijah Rising Store is one of the key components of the Elijah Rising Restoration Campus. Our social enterprise program provides a way for residents in our program to have income, job history, and workforce training.

The social enterprise is about more than making candles.

While women are in residence at the Elijah Rising Restoration Campus, they have the opportunity to apply for a job in our social enterprise. This enables women to receive income while they go through our 1-2 year program. As well, women create job history and receive workforce training to prepare them for when they transition out of our program and into independent living.

How can you shop with a purpose?

Due to COVID-19 our physical store location is closed, but we are still shipping orders placed through our online store. We have a line of quality goods ranging from apparel, candles, home goods, and more. You can also join our candle of the month club, and receive a unique candle every month. Every purchase supports our social enterprise program and provides employment for women who have overcome sexual exploitation.
