After thorough discussions with Frontline Response regarding a potential collaboration to establish an emergency assessment center in Houston, Elijah Rising has determined not to proceed with this specific partnership.
Despite constructive efforts from both organizations, we were unable to reach consensus on several fundamental aspects of program operations and financial accountability measures that Elijah Rising considers essential for responsible stewardship. Given our commitment to our mission and values, we have decided to conclude discussions with Frontline Response on this initiative.
For clarity, Elijah Rising has not entered into any partnership, agreement, memorandum of understanding (MOU), contract, lease agreement, or any other form of investment—financial or otherwise—with Frontline Response at any time.
Elijah Rising remains steadfast in our commitment to serving our community through Christ-centered, faith-driven initiatives that align with our organizational mission. We continue to value the support of those who stand with us in this work and remain dedicated to combating human trafficking through our established programs.
We recognize that an emergency assessment center remains a vital gap in the continuum of care for women seeking to exit trafficking situations in Houston. Elijah Rising is actively exploring alternative options to address this critical need in our community.
